Covid Origins

The purpose of this website is to explore Covid origin stories that began appearing at the start of the pandemic. These stories are shared within and among many separate folk groups of individuals connected primarily through the internet. These groups are characterized by a communal distrust of the “official” narrative and individuals identify themselves as a part of these groups in opposition to the “mainstream”. The content of these stories seeks to clarify the somewhat chaotic development of the Covid pandemic within prior narrative frameworks developed within these groups. The result is ever-evolving theories seeking to explain simply, a very complicated series of events and conditions.
